Question by jules.h08: Should someone be able to smoke an “electric cigarette” in a non smoking bar?
Last night i was out with my husband for dinner and drinks and someone was smoking this “health cigarette” at the bar. (that’s what he called it) The bartender asked him to please not smoke it at the bar because it does still let of an odor and other people have complained in the past.
what are your thoughts on this?
Should he be able to smoke it at the bar or no?
I just want to know if other people thought what i did.
also I myself am a smoker if that helps you answer.
Thanks for all your opinions =)
I was just curious to see what other peoples views were on this.
My husband and I agreed with the bartender. The guy was asked not to do it before on more than one occasion so don’t do it. I just think no smoking means no smoking of any kind even if it is a “vapor” or “mist” and not “smoke” it was inhaled and exhaled like a cigarette, looked like a cigarette and it had an odor.

Electric cigarettes do not emit the harmful secondhand smoke chemicals that burning results in. The smoke is typically made from proopylene glycol to simulate smoke and make it feel more authentic to the user… but is in no way harmful to anyone else.

So yes, he should be allowed to do so.
